No, but seriously. I'm going to be so sad when the free skin thing runs out. Haha.

In any case, since I was just inducted into NHS ohohoho we have our first mandatory service project, and for some inane reason I myself am not entirely sure of, I chose to be on the Knitting Committee, so we can knit scarves for elderly people to use as Christmas presents.
Guess what? SA hasn't finished a single scarf yet. D: In like the 7 years she's known how to knit.
I've started at least three, but they're all really really crappy and have holes in them and and they each got to around maybe 1.5 feet long in like 1.5 years each before I gave up because of how hideous they look and obviously I have no idea how to knit.
Soooo I'm really screwed.
And I don't want to make something hideous and ugly that no one would want to "buy" to give as Christmas presents because really, how crappy would I feel if my ugly scarf was the only one left? D:
And the head of the committee is a good friend of mine, so I don't wanna just like cop out or something and slink to the other craft committee, which is making stuff like jewelry. Which I probably can't do either.
So.
Anyone have knitting tips for a loser like me?
Who can't even remember how to start/end a scarf?

But, uh, on a happier note, I've recently really got into DGM again. :'D And I just read this 11 chapter fanfic that had a scrollbar about 2/3 a cm long for each chapter (lol what kind of unit of measurement is that--) and it was maybe the best thing I have ever read. It made me happier than I'd been for like the past three months. D:
